I get frequent emails from people who express frustration that their stores do not double coupons. Coupons themselves are a gift to us. The companies do not have to give them to us. I am grateful for any help that is given by them. That said if a store does not double coupons they can not afford to do so. They are having a hard time just like the rest of us. All the sales help us just like it helps them. It is still possible to save by matching coupons to your sale circulars. Coupons give you the opportunity to try new items. Free at times. Just pay attention and you will save money. Let your glass be half full.






BINDERS...
I use a binder  that holds baseball cards  to hold my coupons, but to store all the extra's  if i dont use them all i store them in my full page wrap.. or rubber maid container.. i do this because  i might have 50 of 1 coupon but only use 10 or 15 because sales on that same product comes around every  few weeks . I'm not one of these diva's that go out and buy  100 of 1 items at a time  i only buy what i will need. and will last till the sale comes back around again. i only cut what and when i need them.. I dont cut them up when i get my inserts  i did at first  but it was too time consuming  so i stack them  and when  i see something that will be going on sale  i pull them then cut. a lot easier..

Has anyone else noticed most news stories when covering the price of food still do not mention usingcoupons.Yes the price of  purchasing groceries for our families has increased. However when you use coupons that increase can be dimished. All items go on sale in cycles. If you pay attention you can still get your items at a reduced price. Sometimes for free. I personally have not seen an increase in my grocery bill since I always use coupons

Most manufacturers will send you coupons if there was a problem with their product or to get you to try their product. I personally have never received "stacks" of coupons from a company. I have received 3 at one time because I had purchased 3 juices that I did not like. The 800 numbers are on most of the items you buy so that you can contact their customer service departments.. I suggest you join their mailing list if they have one.

There isn't much of produce coupons out there. So i called Chiquita and asked why there isn't any more coupons coming out and of course they apologized and sent 5 out to me certified mail which was nice.  i suggest that you don't do this  every time you want them just  when you haven't seen them out there  DON'T TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE MANUFACTURER because they don't have to to this.

When you go to a store like  dollar general, or a fast food place on the back of your receipt there is a 800 number to call for a survey well most of you just throw them away right? come on don't lie....
well even though it say's you can win money.. but we can also get a free item .. 


EXAMPLE I went to taco bell the other day before work to get one of my favorite bean burrito  they gave me my receipt while i was sitting in my car eating it  i called and at the end they said i won a free item up to $3.00 i said to myslef wow i bought a 99 cent burrito  and got a 3.00 item
