First, you need to get a CVS ExtraCare Card! Ask a cashier for an application and card.

ECB’s (Extra Care Bucks) are earned when you buy items on promotion! (ie. “Buy ___, receive $___ ECB’s”. These promotions can be found in the weekly/monthly ads. When you purchase the promotional item, your ECB’s will print at the end of your receipt! Clip them and keep them as you would cash!

ECB’s can be used to purchase nearly anything in the store. (excludes prescriptions, alcohol, Gift Cards, lottery, money orders, postage stamps, pre-paid cards and tobacco products, as printed on the ECB).

 Make sure when you get to CVS, you scan your card at the kiosk for a possible suprise coupon!

From May 22 – August 28, 2011, you can earn one $10 gift card to Exxon/Mobil, Shell, BP Amoco or BP Arco every week simply by spending $30 on specially-marked items found conveniently in the weekly CVS/pharmacy circular. Once you reach the $30 required purchase threshold, a special coupon will print on your receipt that can be redeemed immediately in store for a $10 gas card. If you prefer to wait to redeem your coupon you have up to 30 days to do so. Limit one redemption per week for each ExtraCare cardholder.
